When Phoenix arrived at the retreat, he was hungry, dehydrated, and so weak he struggled to move. There was a low chance he would survive the first night, but against all odds, he fought back from death’s door and has recovered in leaps and bounds, hence his name. A quiet, docile Euro Kangaroo, Phoenix is an adventurous joey, slipping out of his pouch to look for food or cuddles. Despite his tough start to life, he frequently peeks his little head out from his blankets in the mornings. A curious little soldier.
