Sponsor a Joey
Young kangaroos are called joeys. They live usually in their mother’s pouch where they find shelter and milk until they are fully developed. The joeys actually enjoy most of the time inside the pouch because they are unable to regulate their own body temperature. The pouch keeps the joey warm.

Sponsorship
Being a Sponsor partner with our Retreat means you'll be delivering hope and opportunity to vulnerable Joeys, Kangaroos and Wallabies in long term. Make a greater impact don't just sponsor a Kangaroo, support a Community Organisation Instead. Your business can make a positive, lasting difference to the lives of Kangaroos in need. In return, your staff will get to see the direct impact they are having on the children and families you support.

Hi, I'm Lisa Rose
and established Lisa’s Kangaroo Retreat. We run the Kangaroo Retreat since 2010 out of our own backyard. The retreat is run by family, friends and volunteers, and it is set up to rehabilitate joeys and other local wildlife. We have spent over the last years over $1 Mio. from our own money to rescue, rehabilitate and release kangaroos back into their natural habitat.
